March 26-28

MORGANTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA 
 

The Special Olympics West Virginia 2010 Basketball and Cheerleading Tournament is scheduled for March 26 – 28 in Morgantown.  We hope your schedule will allow you to serve as a volunteer. The venues we are using are the WVU Recreation Center, Morgantown High School and the Sunday finals at WVU Coliseum.   

Please indicate your desire to volunteer for the event by completing both the Volunteer Application and Volunteer Schedule.  If you volunteered during this past year for Special Olympics and have completed the volunteer application with Photo ID attached you do not need to repeat that process. I will keep all volunteer application on file for three years. Upon receiving your Volunteer Schedule, if I need an application or any part of one (such as ID) I will notify you. 

We ask that you return the Volunteer Schedule by March 12, 2010. This allows us time to order volunteer shirts and schedule time frames. Please be sure to include your times availability in the space provided on the form. I will fill the volunteer positions with consideration of your preference.  You will be sent a notification of your assigned schedule and registration information, which includes direction/map etc.
