More than 500 Special Olympics athletes throughout West Virginia have eagerly started their training in preparation to showcase their courage and abilities during the 2011 Fall Games in Parkersburg on October 28-30. The athletes will be competing in volleyball, bowling, flag football, and football skills over the course of three days. Parkersburg South High School will serve as the primary competition venue, with bowling taking place at Pike Street Lanes. To ensure that the athletes have a successful experience at Fall Games, approximately 300 volunteers are needed. If you would like to volunteer to help with Fall Games in any capacity and for any amount of time, please fill out the Volunteer Application Form and Fall Games Schedule through the link below or call the Special Olympics West Virginia office at 1-800-926-1616. We hope you can join us and be part of this memorable experience for all involved.
