Special Olympics West Virginia (SOWV) is pleased to announce the 2018 Basketball and Cheerleading State Tournament will be held March 10-11 in Morgantown. We hope your schedule will allow you to serve as a volunteer. The venues we are using are the WVU Recreation Center and Morgantown High School.

It is the commitment and enthusiasm of people just like you which gives our athletes to opportunity to compete and find joy through sports. We hope your schedule will allow you to volunteer again at this fun event. If so, please indicate your desire to volunteer by completing and returning a Volunteer Schedule and Volunteer Application with a copy of a current photo id.

We ask that you return the Volunteer Schedule by February 23, 2018. This allows us time to order volunteer shirts and schedule volunteers accordingly. Please be sure to include your availability in the spaces provided on the form. We will fill the volunteer positions with consideration of your preference. You will be sent a notification of your assigned schedule and registration information, which includes directions/map etc.

On behalf of the Special Olympics West Virginia staff and the 2018 Basketball / Cheerleading Management Team, THANK YOU for your support. If you have any questions, you may contact me at 304-345-9310, or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
